    "Not something I would want to have again." (107897347)

    The receptionist lady that helped me the night of checking-in was really nice and helpfull. The continental Breakfast served in the room was okay

    The driver's skills from the airport on the night of the 12th Novenber 2008 was BAD. The size of the private bathroom. No facilities for dining, had to go accross the road to a pub, which had great food non the less.

    "Interesting setup with a house converted into guest bedrooms next to main hotel building. Pub nearby was handy for catching an evening meal and breakfast was worth the money with a good selection of food on offer. I did pay for a cheaper room at the hotel but as there is only one bathroom in the house, if it was improved and a shower cubicle installed it would have rated as excellent value for money."     Excellent for budget stay overnight

    Very basic room. Could stay in a better place if staying for more than 1-2 nights.

    Close to Terminal 5. Friendly and effecient staff. Reasonable price.

    Not enough soundproofing against aircraft noise. Not enough towels. Shower room too small. Was unaware this was a totally non smoking hotel did not say so in description so I had to go outside.

    very friendly, welcoming receptionist.an excellent place to stay as a stopover prior to flying.VERY good value.

    cracked sink, and no plug in sink.2 small, irritating points.Terrible noise from the planes taking off!!But we expected this!!

    Being a Canadian I wasn't familiar with the phone numbers, and the only phone number on your confirmation didn't work when I phoned from the airport to arrange your shuttle. As a result it cost us 15 lb. for a taxi. It would help if you listed the number to phone once people are at the airport.

    Location to airport is excellent , also the free shuttle van. Staff were great, expecially the new driver who was more than helpful, went out of his way, gave a very good impression.

    young man at reception was very helpful, booked taxi and asked if i required a wake up call as it was an early strat etc

    i could hear everything that was happening at reception and could hear the person next door snoring and the couple above me during what can only be described as "intimate moments" which i would not expect to hear in a hotel

    Close to Heathrow, and free shuttle to the Airport. Breakfast was good value for the money. Pub right across the street!

    Small rooms and bathroom. TVs were small and not a lot of channels to pick from. Loud while airtraffic is active from Heathrow, hard to even have a conversation in the room with all the planes.

    The hotel very close to Heathrow Airport, and was priced fairley welln and staff friendly and helpfull.

    The room was very small espically the toilet and wash area and the room was i n need of a good paint

    "Not good, but for the price was reasonable. It is the kind of hotel where you make yourself rough it since you want to be by the airport and don't want to pay $300 for a room when you are only sleeping there for a brief time. They need to be honest with their customers on the airport pick up times. We could feel the springs in the beds and they squeaked. Very low quality accomodations." (107141928)

    Close to airport and the least expensive option that I could find. Large room.

    They made us wait at the airport for 35 minutes waiting for a pickup out in the rain. If they had been honest with us and told us that it would be at least 20-30 minutes, we would have just taken a cab. Instead, they were dishonest, we had to call them 4 times at USA rates on our cell phone and they kept saying that the driver just left terminal 3. This was a lie as the driver told us that he made 2 pickups and drop offs at the hotel in the 35 minutes that we were told he was coming to get us. Honestly, we were quite furious and the airport had closed for the night. We ended up sick after the adventure of standing in the wind and rain for that length of time. Horrible experience especially when we were exhausted from our travels. Also, we were given a hostel type room and the beds were horrible.

    Friendly staff. Breakfast in room.

    The bathroom was very very small. The shower cubicle was very very small, the shower curtain did not fit so the water went everywhere. The drains smelt in the plughole of the shower. There were two people in the room but only one bath towel and one hand towel was provided! The walls in the rooms were paper thin, we could hear everything in the other rooms - even a man snoring in the early hours of Saturday morning....! There was also a giggling woman in the next room who kept us awake on Sat/Sun. Beds we uncomfortable! This was definitely not drinking water as when you had a cup of tea/coffee there was a clear scummy film over the top of the drinks. The drinks/snack machine would not give change. It was disgusting that you had to pay extra for breakfast! Room was cold.

    Sorry you only do basket breakfast at weekends. Wish you did more hours of pickup from the Airport.Idea! Like the one I stay at Nr Gatwick,share the 24hrs.with another hotel!

    For the price charged it was quite reasonable.

    Regarding shuttle bus pick up from airport to lodge, the time waiting at airport was too long, ie we where given unrealistic times for bus arrival at airport.

    Proximity to decent pub over the road and to Heathrow Terminal 5; tariff is reasonable for the area.

    Friendly staff, free transit to/from airport, close to a couple of pubs.

    was unaware that a phone call was neccesary for the hotel shuttle. Clear instruction including the location that the shuttle arrives, I'm sure would be helpful to those booking in the future.

    Good value for money. Staff kind and curteous.

    Little niggles - would have liked a remote control for TV and a bedside lamp, and the light over the washbasin mirror didnt work. Would have liked 2 pillows not one, and the matress on the bed felt 'well used'.

    "I quite liked it although you have to share the bathroom, but the bed was comfortable and the room clean. The area around the hotel has a couple of nice pubs and, even though you're near the airport, you don't really hear the planes. I have to say that I stayed in this hotel a couple of times and the experience very much depends on which "house" you end up sleeping in: some are cleaner and more welcoming than others, and on one occasion I really didn't like the room at all (small, dirty bathroom, noisy neighbours)."     "OK, so it's London and its RIGHT next to Heathrow and because of this it was a reletivly cheap " (107155401)

    No real good points at the lodge at all apart from when the aircraft STOPPED flying DIRECTLY overhead. The pub down the road was quite good and served mountains of chips.

    Where do I start....? The room it's self was nothing special, needed a complete refit, the walls were dirty as was the carpet. The "en-suite" was more like what you would get in a caravan and not a modern one at that, pre-fab and just put in the corner of the room with a shower stall that was about 3 feet by 18 inches, more like an aircraft toilet with a very small shower. Also the smell of urine was overpowering the window of the room had to be kept open which didn't go well with the mighty 747's flying at 200 foot over the hotel, lucky they stopped flying at 10pm. I don't know what washing powder is used for the towels but they smelt of a mild korma, funny that.

    Cheap and cheerful; you got what you paid for; staff obliging; free pickup an advantage and efficient, though nearly missed it at Heathrow as instructions a bit vague.

    I upgraded to en suite which wa a bit basic, but OK.

    "I think it is worth choosing the twin roon option even if you travel alone." (107743089)

    Transport to/from the airport was the MAIN REASON for choosing this hotel. It is done very efficiently.
