    "Was a surprise over night stay for my partner. We were both very impressed by the 'apartment' concept much better than staying in a hotel room. Being able to checkout later meant we could take our time and cook our own breakfast! We both loved it! Would highly recommend it. " (107936319)

    The beautiful entrance and reception area was kept lovely and warm which after braving the usual Manchester weather was a nice welcome. Rooms were spacious and homely and equiped with everything you could possibly need.

    Some of the door ways and corridors were quite narrow making it a little difficult to manoeuvre even a small amount of luggage through also a small amount of staining on the carpet in the room. These were only minor points and overall we had a really lovely stay and would definity return.

    Quiet, well equipped, good value for money, well located

    Had to change rooms as internet access not working in booked room. Rooms too hot making it hard to sleep, unable to open windows due to noise from fans etc.

    Clean apartment with everything needed.

    Room was above facing chinese restaurant so the room smelt of chinese food! It was a very warm night and could have done with air con, although there was a fan in the room.

    Everything you need, like home from home. Lounge and kitchen all together in a studio layout, facilities meant no rush to make it down to breakfast before its tidied away, just make your own when ready.

    Excellent location, being close to china town and the gay village.Plus only a 10 minute walk to the main shopping area.

    Hard to find any bad points about the hotel, one thing you could pick fault in was the room was a little bit tired and in need of a bit of tlc. However i have stayed in far far worse.

    excellent value for money and brilliant location next to canal st and short walk to shopping areas! Clean and spacious even though we had a studio much bigger than a hotel room and we took food and cooked breakfast the next morning...definatly recommend!

    Had to check out at 11am...but you can check out at 4pm for an extra

    Some areas of the appartments look a little tired.

    Very well-equipped room. Location could not be better.

    Poor accessibility to lifts (flight of stairs up to the ground floor lift!) No internet access in my initial room - was allocated an alternative when this was pointed out, but it was not mentioned on check-in.

    Friendly & helpful reception staff - Free luggage room

    Room was over a main street and wasn't fitted with double glazing, thus was extremly noise during the night - If I had fore-knowledge of the hotel layout I would have requested not to be accomidated in the Dominion House wing of the hotel.

    Staff helpful. Room lovely and clean. Would definately stay there again.

    Due to the heavy rainfall that day, water was leaking through the reception area ceiling, and towels/buckets had been placed on the floor to soak up the water.

    The windows didnt open very far and it can get quite hot specially in summer but its understandable that they dont open much as its a high building!

    Very friendly receptionist at check in, with a lovely manner. She also phoned us later that evening to make sure we were happy with the room. The studio apartment we had was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the facilities first class, the room was lovely and clean and the shower was lovely and powerful!! Excellent location as well, very easy to find.

    There was a breakfast box available at a very reasonable price. The only reason I didn't purchase this was that I only have skimmed milk, and this option wasn't available. The lifts were a bit slow, but as we were on the 2nd floor this wasn't a problem as we could walk. It would've also been nice if the hotel had a deal with the NCP car park for a discounted parking rate.

    Having a mini-apartment, with a full kitchen allowed us to create a gourmet dinner. A quick trip downstairs and we had a library of DVDs to choose from, this made for a terrific night in. Perfection after a 4 hour drive!

    Being on the first floor meant we were near the busy road. Bit loud.

    "The receptionists were friendly and polite. Parking cost £13 for 24 hours but the carpark was only a couple of minutes walk away and we paid for parking at the hotel reception with no hassle. The room was clean and comfortable and a kitchenette gave us the option of catering for ourselves. The room was more like a bedsit than a hotel room. We felt a longer stay would have enabled us to make more use of the facilities. We would use this hotel again." (97429202)

    It was convenient for city centre shopping. Cooking facilities in the room were useful if we didn't want to eat out. Good for longer stays.

    "The place is clean, efficient and extremely central, but it's a short-stay apartment block, not a hotel - for example, my room wasn't serviced at any point during my three-night stay, but to be fair it was immaculate and well equipped on my arrival. However, there's no room service, bar, gym etc. that you'd expect from a similarly rated hotel - but then, it is about half the price of one. On the down-side, it's no use for light sleepers as the price you pay for the location is a constant roar of road noise. Double glazing and air-con would have made a big difference here, and it was disappointing that neither were available. Still, overall it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, and very good value for money." (97995848)

    It was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The reception staff were efficient and the location of the place is fantastic.

    It was very noisy - it's on the corner of two major roads and there's secondary glazing, not double glazing. There was also no air-con, so if the weather was good you had to open all the windows (thus making it noisier) or the place turned into an oven. The room was not serviced during my 3-night stay, although to be fair it was immaculate when I arrived.

    "the hotel was excellent it was very clean it had everything we required in the room. I really liked the idea of a tv and the radio that was in the room. And the kitchenette it was perfect. About after 10 minutes in the room we recieved a call of a member of staff asking if everything was ok which i thought was excellent customer service. We are looking to come back ath the end of july for my partners birthday and hopefuly stay again at this hotel. Also it was right next to canal street which was perfect as thats where we were going for a night out, and it was only 5 minutes walk from the train station and the town. I really couldn't fault anything. I have already recommended this hotel to many of my friends. Thankyou for making my weekend even more enjoyable." (97901810)
