  The linen was clean

  car parking area filthy strewn with whiskey bottles,etc. Only one hand towel and bath towel provided until we complained.No teaspoon on the hospitality tray. The television worked better with the aerial disconected!but Still bad.Public areas smelly.

  Security for car. Price.

  Very basic accommodation. Tea in room only - no coffee. No hairdryer. No mirror in main room. Bathroom - no bath as advertised - shower only. Not finished, no tiled splashback, exposed copper pipes everywhere. One towel only. Toilet did not flush properly. Did not accept credit/bank cards - 'machine out of order' - cash only - no receipt book but a handwritten receipt reluctantly written on original booking by a member of staff with little command of the English language.

  Very good shower.

  No restaurant facilities. Bad reception on TV only one channel viewable. No remote for TV. My colleague is only of small stature and could not reach the TV which was on top of the wardrobe.

  "Perhaps i didnt read up the details of the Hotel properly, but it was far below what i would expect, even for a Salvation Army Hostel. The Staff saved the day with their freindly helpful attitude." (107274102)

  The Staff made what could have been a dull experience, a pleasant experience. But for their input, this review would have been very negative.

  The room was quite frankly a shock. Very small with less furniture than the average Prison cell. It was very cramped and the bed was small and uncomfortable. We needed independant movement in and out of the bed, so it had to be pulled away from the wall, reducind space even further. The Staff did their best but were unable to provide anything other than Beans, egg and toast each morning.

  There wernt any

  holes in carpet , stains on ceiling broken funiture and loo seat , loo leaked on floor , bed linnen was dirty and had residue of the last person who stayed in it !!!

  Secure Car Parking

  No breakfast available until after 9.30am it was a double room booked for 2 people but only towels for one person available. Teabags in the room were unusable. Colour scheme of bedding left a lot to be desired.

  "We would suggest this establishment be renamed 'Fort Appache, The Bronx'!" (107284061)

  There were no good points to this establishment, the carpark was strewn with rubbish and broken glass. Not one word of greeting from the man in reception, the only words spoken were 'cash or card?'

  The room was very basic, stained walls, rubbish beside the bed and behind the bed, also on top of the wardrobe. There was a car 'jacked up' on bricks in the car park. We were supplied with 2 towels which were rough and 1 of which was badly stained with what appeared to be red dye? the carpet was dark and very tacky under foot. The directions for the establishment were poor and directions for the car park/reception area also poor. The 1 curtain on the window did not fit the window and traffic noise was constant throughout the night even with the window's closed.

  Close to NEC, cheap, comfortable. Large secure car park

  Room smelt dreadful- cigarettes and curry yuk! Holes in the walls ?from what!!!! Very cheap fittings in room especially bathroom Carpets and floorings did not go wall-to-wall, there were big gaps where you could see the concrete floor. DVD player did not work at all and the TV remote settings were all round the wrong way! Volume was channel change etc! Very difficult to find car park, it was not at all clear that it was not on the same road as the hotel!

  "I am glad we only had to be there for less than 10 hours!" (107270986)

  24 hour check in

  Room was tiny, sheets were old and had holes in them, toilet didn't work properly, shower was very very small, tv picture was poor, only provided one set of towels, room was poorly maintained (cracks in the walls, etc), basin didn't have a drain cover or a plug.
