    Helpful staff, basic but clean accommodation, good facilities, convenient for beach and centre of Calais, Eurotunnel. Good parking. Help from staff re: Eurotunnel closure (no help from Eurotunnel. Good breakfast at 7.00 am.

    Rather dull decoration of room. Information didn't point out that there were no cooking utensils although microwave and hob units in room.

    Good location for beach and ferry ports numerous restaurants and a short walk to the the town centre,

    The room cleaning service seems to cater for overnight stop overs,and not late risers staying longer periods.

    Nice and Clean. Good shower. comfortable.

    Usually we travel with my mother & daughter. So in that case as 4 adults sharing it would of not been suitable. But as we had two children. Bunk beds were fine. But did expect two singles.

    No lift Beds under sheet not very hygenic, 1 mattress covered with hairs.

    Despite apalling condition of the room the bedding seemed fresh.

    Curtains hanging off rails. When we dared to close them they were full of holes. Toilet door wouldnt open properly as room too small. Chairs felt unsafe. Travel cot that was booked had been broken and badly repaired.Advertised a kitchenette but there was no utensils. Basically a horrible experience,

    Probably the best hotel receptionist I have come across during many years staying in hotels, We were on our way back from Le Mans racing (Have been 14yrs running) and this is the best hotel we have had to date. We will definately book for next year Thanks to all the staff at Residence du Golf

    Quad room was good value for money but too cramped for more than one night with teenage children. Breakfast was reasonable, especially as we only paid half price for the teenagers.

    Arrived late so no space left in car park. Stairs and hallways were very shabby with stained carpets (but room was fine)

    Usual fair quality. Easy after hours self-check in. This was most welcome after not arriving until midnight, due to 4 hour delay on M25.

    Non-existent breakfast following morning; couldn't find staff to replenish, therefore bought croissants and juice from Carrefour.

    la chambre est agréable la vue est belle depuis notre chambre. l'accueil est très chaleureux et le personnel est très poli.

    au petit déjeuné il manquait des oeufs brouillés. les autres personnes qui résident dans l'hotel sont parfois très bruyant le soir quand il rentrent tard mais cela vous ne pouvez rien y faire malheureusement

    "Would not stay here again and would definitely not recommend. Room was barely clean, facilities were not good - bed and bedding were poor quality. Light next to bed would not switch off. room stank of stale cigarette smoke. Drinks machine in hall did not work. breakfast was shocking. Cleaner walked into room 30 mins before check out time due and did not knock before sailing in. It made Formule 1 seem like a luxury chain. The receptionist was pleasant though." (97808730)

    The double bed was partitioned off from the bunk beds, very good view of the sea. Seperate bathroom and toilet- nice size room for the price.

    Some fixtures and fittings in the room were dated and in poor repair, not a problem for us as only 1 night but not good if staying longer

    "This was the second time we have stayed here for a couple of nights and on both occassions it has met our expectations for a hotel of this class & price. proved Ideal for us while getting our dogs ready for coming back on ferry. would certainly have no hesitation in using again. although there is no Bar/restuarant the Kyriad next door is Okay for using when one can't be bothered going into town, staff there were also very friendly" (97670133)

    "We were pleased with our stay, the staff is friendly and the place is clean. The location is very good." (97236221)

    Good location opposite the beach, nice view of the sea from the room. Kitchenette and Wi-Fi in room and plenty of storage space. Big playground for kids a few yards away and a selection of restaurants. The hotel itself is simple but clean and spacious enough for a short stay. Staff is very friendly and understanding. Breakfast is good.
